Tracy + Nick just vowed to love one another forever (and I mean foreva evaaaa because these two are meant to be) in the most beautiful, only slightly chaotic summer wedding at the Aldie Mansion outside the Philadelphia + greater NYC areas

We got off to a rocky start due to some hotel + limo mix ups, and then the already boiling hot sky opened up with some unexpected (at least to me and my apparently worthless fancy weather app) rainfall, both drizzly and downpoury

But just when we thought the ceremony would have to be moved indoors, the drops slowed, the Aldie Mansion staff did an AMAZING job getting the outdoor area ready to welcome guests without fearing a soggy booty, and we even experienced an incredible moment of sun rays peeking over onto the couple during their vows

Since ya girl is a Leo, I was able to whiz through family photos and get us back on track enough that Tracy + Nick could dash off and address their adoring fans from the bridal suite balcony with an absolutely lovely + sentimental champagne toast

And as we all know, after cocktail hour comes dinner, and after dinner comes the partaaaay!

Of course toasts were given, and dances danced, and the gorgeous coconut cake was cut (it was delicious, but MAN those creole macarons were out of this world)

But beyond formalities, Tracy + Nick were having such a blast getting down with their friends and family that we collectively decided they should stay on the dance floor instead of heading away for any extra portrait time (which is unheard of - I’ll take your portraits every chance I get, and I’m freaking fun during portrait time)

So while we may not have the most portraits I’ve ever taken on a wedding day, I think you’ll all agree that the smiles on their faces as they danced the night away together in wedded bliss (and their excitement running off into the night) show that we definitely made the right call
